About Us

Lisa G - Master Stylist/Owner

Lisa became a hairdresser over 20 years ago. It all started back in Colorado where she went to Barber College and then on to Cosmetology school. She moved to Virginia in 1996 and had the opportunity to be a hair stylist at Trendsetters in Fredericksburg. It was there that she realized just how much she loved styling hair. Lisa immediately applied for a position with the Paul Mitchell Associate program. The associate program included education and training with the elite members of the Paul Mitchell Team. While studying under Master Stylists, she learned the art of advance cutting techniques and advance color application techniques. In 1999, she completed the yearlong program and was invited to become a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems. In October of 1999 Lisa became a part of Bella Hair Salon in Fredericksburg. It was there that the nickname Lisa G was born after having to differentiate between the 2 stylists named Lisa. She continued to perfect her art as a stylist, while teaching classes for numerous salons all over Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In 2003, she was again invited to attend the Elite Advanced Color Educator Program by John Paul Mitchell Systems. This program required over 400 hours of classes, practicum, and theory. In 2005, she was honored to become a Senior National Educator. The educational growth as a stylist has given Lisa G the opportunity to work with the organization, GOD TV. She has traveled with the production teams from Florida to Israel. Lisa G also received an accreditation as a stylist for a local book author in her book.

“With the love and support of all my guests I set out on my own and officially opened Lisa G Salon.
This journey is just the beginning of many wonderful things to come.”
